For an international institution based in The Hague (Den Haag, Netherlands), we are urgently looking for a SQL Server / MS Sharepoint Administrator. As SQL Server / MS Sharepoint Administrator, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, updating, and troubleshooting Database and related Middleware such as Microsoft SQL / MySQL / Postgres/ Microsoft Sharepoint.
Relocation to The Hague is required. Candidates need to be fluent in English. Workpermit is required. This position is open for contractors, who would like to commit long-term.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Contributing to Designing, Engineering and implementing Database and Sharepoint solutions such Message Queuing Systems, Databases,Sharepoint Applications etc;
Providing Subject Matter Expertise in the formation of newDatabase systems;
Anticipating Database outages by ensuring backups and disaster recovery procedures are tested and validated;
Owning and resolving Database / Sharepoint and other relatedIncident Tickets in a 3rd line capacity as required;
Troubleshooting and investigating application errors/malfunctions;
Preparing/implementing new Sharepoint Applications;
Profile:
Bachelor or Master's degree;
+5 years in Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft SQL Server Database Management;
Knowledge:
Microsoft Database Platforms – MSSQL;
Microsoft Sharepoint;
Linux/ MySQL / Postgres;
Expertise in SQL Query and Stored Procedure authoring,troubleshooting and refactoring for efficiency;
Experience in Installing, Upgrading and MaintainingIndependent MSSQL and MSQL Cluster installations;
